This is the third in a series of projects for Lenovo, after New Realities and Kind Cities, where we broker a relationship with a charity so that a global marketing project can make a genuinely meaningful impact to communities, highlight issues of importance and create conversation around the clients activity. Everybody wins.
We formed an international group of volunteers and took them to one of the remotest islands on earth where they participated in projects that benefit the community while also continuing their day-jobs ‘working from home’.
This is Robinson Crusoe Island, 700km off the coast of Chile. We joined forces with Island Conservation, a charity working to prevent extinctions and protect biodiversity. We were able to deploy Lenovo technology to benefit the conservation work and also use the skills of our volunteers to further benefit the community through a range of other projects.
As with the other two we worked closely with the agency, Zeno, devising and managing the project end to end. We also made a series of films and other content. The project won several PR awards including one for the film at the top of this page, shot by Joe Fletcher, edited by Shona Hamilton, produced by Boz TM.
